Over six months, we’ll give 20 startups and SMEs the connections, mentors, community and expert advice to help you turbocharge your startup’s growth. You’ll get targeted technical support to develop solutions that secure the UK's frontier technologies.

As part of the programme, you’ll attend the Grow Bootcamp: an intensive, in-person welcome event to dive deep into your growth plans and connect as a cohort.

Don't be put off applying if you don't meet all the criteria, as we assess each application on a case-by-case basis and we'll always signpost you to other avenues for support.

By “cyber” we mean: any company that’s looking at the availability, integrity, availability and security of information, the internet (including internet-connected spaces and devices), critical national infrastructure and communications. Companies battling disinformation, online harms, securing AI and safeguarding the availability of manufacturing are all cyber companies by this definition.

Investor pitches and industry introductions Get in front of a wide network of investors and industry, and have the opportunity to receive intensive support on investment readiness from our partners Halcyon Angels. You’ll be able to speak to leaders in the cyber industry on the challenges facing your company and receive feedback and advice to lead you to success.

Expert-led workshops Take part in our workshops virtually, wherever you are. Our sessions are virtual and allow for smaller groups to interact, ask questions and support each other.  

Mentoring, and 1:1 advice from successful tech founders Learn from successful founders and experts from the ecosystem with our founders’ firesides and mentoring.  

Six in-person events Connect with your cohort members and the wider cyber ecosystem with our in-person deep dive days, which are held across the UK. We’ll fully fund your travel and accommodation for one of these events. 

Pitch practice We’ll help you nail your pitch and story. Whether you’re speaking to investors, buyers or your team, we’ll help you tell your story and rally people around your mission.

Engineering and technical support Six companies will be selected to receive support from the Centre for Secure Information Technologies and Lancaster University to support your product development.  

No cost, no equity and no IP Cyber Runway is fully funded by the UK government and Plexal takes no equity or IP from you. We’re just here to help you scale.
